Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to meet with national troops in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. He stated that he consulted fighters at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Volatile Circumstances in Pokrovsk

Recent mapping from a Ukrainian project showed that Russian forces had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion was not fully held by both forces. The conditions are severe, with updates indicating that invading units were establishing defenses and building up positions in certain areas.

Russian forces continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within Pokrovsk itself.

Research institutes commented that defense units had liberated a significant portion of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya front, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk effort.

Ukrainian Drone Strikes Within Russia

Ukrainian long-range drones struck a factory approximately over 800 miles inside Russian territory at the city. Local officials confirmed a blast at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the cause of the explosion was undetermined.
